Starting May 2026, FilmStage Studio will launch a professional Musical Dance program, aimed at participants who want to train at a high level and prepare for auditions for productions and professional pathways.
This is an intensive, practice-oriented course for those serious about musical dance.
The program is open to young people aged 15 and up, as well as adults.

At FilmStage Studio, you can also take professional acting classes. Our ongoing training is focused on acting for the camera but is also applicable for the stage.
In 2026, it will also be possible to train in singing for musical theatre—as well as any other style. We offer private and duo lessons, and vocal technique will also be integrated into our acting studio.

No audition required to start, but a presentation video is required upon enrollment (see more information on the registration form)
Structure of the Classes
Continuity and progression are central. That’s why we work in 8-week modules. Within one module, we focus for 8 weeks on a single choreography. The goal is to reach a point where the group performance is recorded on camera. Audition preparation and a mock audition are also included within the module.
Start with Basic & Mixed Level Group
60 minutes per class
Ideal for those who want to build a solid technical foundation or approach musical dance professionally from a beginner or mixed level.
Focus: technique, style awareness, and performing with conviction.
Dancers with more experience or a higher level will eventually have the opportunity to start a separate advanced module.

At FilmStage Studio, we offer courses for screen and stage acting. We run ongoing training sessions on our own film set, where you can also shoot using our professional equipment. This makes us unique in the Benelux.

About Barbara Schizzarotto
Barbara started dancing at a young age and has a strong technical foundation in classical ballet, trained at The Royal Ballet School of Antwerp, complemented by extensive experience in jazz ballet. From this foundation, she developed a deep passion for musical dance, where technique, expression, and performance come together.
Throughout her career, she has worked in various show and entertainment productions, both on stage and behind the scenes. In addition to her work as a choreographer, including for Miss Belgium, she has extensive teaching experience and holds a pedagogical diploma. Today, she also mentors young people as a vocal coach within the ON-TRACK project (Studio 100 and Soudal).

No trial lessons – all information is provided on the website, questions can be asked via email.
There are no classes only during the Christmas holidays; all other holiday periods continue as usual.
You will work in a group on a choreography, so attendance at ALL classes is required.

Per Module: €380* (8 weeks)
Per Month: €160*
Included: all lessons, personal coaching, use of the film set, video recording at the end, drinks during lessons, VAT.
+ Membership/Insurance: €50/year (€33 for May-December)
* Price per module is for a fixed duration of 8 weeks. As long as space is available, priority is given to ongoing students.. * The monthly price applies when you take continuous training, for a minimum of 4 months (2 modules of 8 weeks). The notice period is one month, before the end of the next lesson month (summer months do not count as lesson months). You have priority over participants who want to start per module. You pay one month in advance at the start, which serves as a deposit for your notice period and will be deducted from your last month..
10% discount when registering for the full year (5 modules) (€1440)
Note: This is not a hobby course. Attendance at every lesson is required, as well as a professional attitude. Those without professional ambitions are also welcome, but the same attitude and commitment are expected.
How to enroll?

You pay €75 for the selection process; if you are not selected, this amount will be refunded. If you are selected, you pay the remaining amount within 7 days, and at the latest, the day before the start.
We ask for an introduction video that you can upload with the form. In the video, you tell us who you are, any experience you have, which courses you have taken, what you want to learn, and what your ambitions are. You do not need to dance or sing in your video, but you are welcome to show something if you think it will help us in the selection. You can also share more about yourself, your hobbies, and why you want to enroll.
